Nothing ever happens in small town Pintoon. Except the footy. Everyone loves the footy. But the Pintoon Parrots cant seem to break their losing streak. That is until they change their line up. Suddenly its goal after goal, and win after win. But after a pre-match party gets out of hand, the teams new forwards might struggle to bring Pintoon the grand final victory they expect.

PRODUCTION HISTORY
The Forwards was commissioned by Regional Arts Victoria in 2003 and has toured throughout regional Victoria and Queensland.

Stefo Nantsou is a founder of Zeal Theatre Company, which has produced over 40 productions. Zeal Theatre received the prestigious ASSITEJ Presidents Award for outstanding services to the theatre for young people industry in Montreal in 2005.
